Chasing love? No need according to Ephesians 1:4, “… He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world”. For Valentine’s we hosted a community outreach giving away candy and Gospel tracks. We went into surrounding neighborhoods, parking lots, and retail stores sharing the love of Jesus.
God’s favor was poured out as we gave out 250 candy hearts, suckers, and salvation tracks. People received our gift with surprise in their eyes as we told them of God’s love. You can see me knocking on someone’s door and a picture of Matt praying with a guy walking on the street who was carrying a brown bag of alcohol.
The result was amazing… lots of smiles as many people allowed us to pray for their needs… jobs, healing, etc. One man prayed to receive Christ! We are grateful that we can take the message of Christ to our own community.
