Closing out one year and entering into another has landed me in Isa 55:12, "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace...". I found comfort through this verse as I desire to follow God's will for my life. Sometimes it can be tempting to fret about decisions that we make in life and not be able to enjoy the moment. For me, it's more concern about if I am making the right decision in the first place. But as scripture says, we will go out in joy as we obey God and He will lead us in His peace as long as we keep Him first place and ask that His will be at the center of our will. I have found confidence and encouragement through this verse.
