A reminder for today - Jesus will not share His glory with another man. He is God and we are but mere mortal men. Know that we in ourselves are finite, fallen, falliable vessels. Jesus said in Mark 10:27, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." Who are we to even think that we deserve to receive such glory? We discover in scripture that such a request of glory was asked by a lady for her two sons. See Jesus response. It's not one of pride, but rather humility.
Matthew 20:21-28 "What is it you want?" he asked. Se said, "Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom." "You don’t know what you are asking," Jesus said to them. "Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?" "We can," they answered. Jesus said to them, "You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father." When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
So, who feels they can share this glory? It starts with sacrificing to self and being a servant. Jesus demonstrated this for us by sacrificing His own self on the cross for all mankind. Not the good or righteous, but the bad, lost sinner. This is why He and only He deserves such glory.

He is so worthy of that glory. Delightful post. I will be back to read more and be blessed.
